Clean Energy

In line with global and national commitment to move towards the use of clean energy, IIGSD supports access to affordable clean energy for communities in ASALs through promotion and development of clean energy sources such as biogas digesters, solar cookers, improved cookstoves, and home lighting solutions. Within the existing legal framework, we also engage in the development of solar and wind power plants, and conversion of waste to energy to enhance access to affordable clean energy for domestic and productive uses.
