Advocacy and Legal Aid

IIGSD runs advocacy and awareness programmes to sensitize the local communities on various issues including reproductive health care, FGM, early marriages, harmful cultural practices, human rights and fundamental freedoms, judicial system, devolution, civic obligations, political governance, public participation, land administration and electoral justice.

We also conduct public interest litigation and provide legal aid and access to justice services to the indigent and the vulnerable members of the society.
