Food Security

Our food security programme seeks to improve food security and promote sustainable agricultural practices that will ensure long-term food security for the communities in ASALs of Northern Kenya through sustainable livestock breeding and management practices, irrigation based farming, provision of modern farming equipment and promotion of modern agricultural techniques and farming practices, ensuring easy access to agricultural extension services, complementary livelihoods, access to livestock and agricultural insurance, value addition, and trade facilitation through stronger marketing and market linkages.
